   • The St. Augustine Lighthouse is rumored to be haunted by the first lighthouse keeper who fell to his death while painting the tower, as well as the ghost of 3 children. The 3 daughters of the original builder were killed in a tragic accident, and they are sometimes heard giggling and seen playing hide-and-seek. Ghost tours are available here.

2. Cassadaga (Cassadaga):

   • Known as the “Psychic Capital of the World,” Cassadaga is a community of spiritualists and mediums. You can join guided ghost tours in the area.

3. The Devil’s Chair (Port St Lucie):

   • In Oak Hammock Park is a tree with a sinister past. Florida’s first serial killer, Gerard John Schaefer, committed many murders here, and it’s said that mysterious sightings and sounds are witnessed here.

4. The Biltmore Hotel (Coral Gables):

   • This historic hotel in Coral Gables is rumored to be haunted by the ghost of Thomas “Fatty” Walsh, a mobster who ran a speakeasy and casino on the 13th floor. Fatty was gunned down in the Everglades Suite in 1929 and the bullet hole is still in the wall over the fireplace. Ghost tours are offered.

5. The Riddle House (West Palm Beach):

   • The Riddle House is said to be haunted by the ghost of Joseph, a former employee who committed suicide. It has been featured on paranormal investigation shows.

   • Bellamy Bridge is famous for its “Ghost of Bellamy Bridge” legend. Visitors have reported encountering the spirit of a young bride who died in a tragic accident.

10. Key West Cemetary (Key West):

    • This cemetery was constructed 16 feet above sea level after a catastrophic hurricane that took many lives and buildings in 1846. This is the final resting place for around 100,000 people, and many visitors have had encounters with the restless souls of those buried here. Guided night tours are available.
