There are a number of things you just don’t do if you’re hoping to get a job anywhere. At the top of the list would be, steal from the place before the actual interview. A St. Petersburg woman apparently didn’t get that primer, however.
On Saturday, KHOU11 notes, the woman, who wasn’t named in the report, told a Judge she planned on turning her life around and that she was going to start by acing her job interview the next day. That job interview would take place at a Pinellas Park Walmart — the very company that put her in the Judge’s courtroom in the first place after they caught her trying to steal an entire cart of merchandise.
Yeah. So good luck, nameless Walmart prospect. We’re sure that’s going to look good on the background check. Then again, this is Florida. It could show the kind of initiative we’re looking for at our local Walmarts. Or perhaps she could just say she found the carts and was trying to restock when she confused housewares with the parking lot. Either way, she should probably start submitting applications to some area Targets, just to be safe.
