If the story we ran earlier this month of a Florida man high on meth cutting off his own penis wasn’t enough to scare you away from the drug, this story probably won’t do it either. However, it does beg the question — why are meth heads first reactions to seek and destroy?
The News-JournalOnline reports that 47-year-old Daniel Brown was charged with felony attempted murder — is there a misdemeanor attempted murder? — after his target with a pick axe. Luckily, the victim “deflected the blow by raising his right arm and suffered a 2-inch puncture,” the news site reported. We say “luckily,” because that two inches could have been a lot bigger and gone straight through the victim’s skull. Little victories!
Unfortunately, Florida is a state with no shortage of meth as many a blown up double-wide can attest.
